The developers of Mel clearly didn’t listen to any of Portal 2′s developer commentary, otherwise, If they had, they would have known how to make a level enjoyable rather than frustrating. If you have to rely on a tutorial in order to solve the second half of the very first test chamber then that is bad game design.
Once I get started, It’s kinda hard to stop and will get heated and write an insanely long wall of text explaining in excruciating detail why I do not like Portal Stories: Mel.ġ: The game has bad game design and fails to understand the concept of a learning curve.
